From the ashes rises The Crucible
This past weekend was The Crucible Summit. We had people from all across the Midwest attend and I was honored to have had the opportunity to learn and share with new friends like Nancy, Jeff, Larry and Danelle in addition to having some of the past regulars at at open workouts at The Crucible join us.
When I wrote the essay here that revealed my path to The Crucible it was obscured with the wreckage of me being forced from the mainstream fitness industry or "the McGloboGym" by small, threatened minds. At first my mind was as small as their minds and it prevented me from moving down the path. There were several instances where I started and stopped, questioning myself if I had made the right choice in publically stating that in my opinion "the fitness club and fitness industry was partially responsible for America's obesity epidemic".
I realize I did make the right choice.
